The CLASSIC flight lasts up to 15 minutes and can be carried out in any season. Our flight leads from the top of the mountain down to the landing site. In between you can enjoy the wonderful view.

Only a few steps to take off and you will glide with an experienced pilot over the inspiring landscape of Salzburg. With the city center, flatland to the north, forests underneath you, stunning mountains and rock faces around - this will be an unforgettable experience. "Sound of Music" fans will see some spots from the movie while we fly.

Physical requirements:
In general, everyone in the age from 6 to 99 years is welcome to fly with us. Our paragliders allow a weight range from 15 kg to 110 kg for the passenger.
You should be in a certain physical condition and be able to run a few steps to start safely. If you’re not sure, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us, we will be happy to advise.
Important informations:
If you want, photos / videos will be taken of you during the flight. You will receive the data immediately after the flight on your smartphone or as an SD card. Of course, you can check beforehand whether you are satisfied with the quality! You can book the photo and video package directly at your pilot - just let him/her know at the meeting point.
Weather:
Paragliding depends on wind and weather and this is difficult to predict, especially in the Alps. Therefore we decide the day before whether the flight can take place. We will get in touch with you in case of bad weather and will try to move the appointment to another time/day with better conditions. In order to enable you to use this special service we kindly ask you to be available on the cell phone number or the e-mail address you’ve given us in the booking process. You are also welcome to inform yourself about the weather situation with us in advance, especially if you have a longer journey.
Please don’t rely too much on the several weather apps - they can give you an overview, but in our experience they often aren’t correct.
Duration:
The trip takes about 2 hours in total. Your flying time depends on the wind conditions and thermals and can last between 10-15 minutes.

Arriving by bus:
Line 151 departs from the city center, stop 'Mirabellplatz', via the landing area, stop 'Volksschule Guggenthal', and directly to 'Gaisbergspitze' (final stop).
You can find the bus schedule here.
The bus stop at Mirabellplatz is difficult to find. Therefore, please be sure to check the map and this street view of the bus stop beforehand.
The bus, which is scheduled to arrive 8 minutes before the scheduled time, is usually sufficient; if it's late, we'll wait for you. If you have enough time, we still recommend taking an earlier bus to enjoy the view from the mountain. There are also two restaurants at the top of the mountain, both of which we can recommend.
Arriving by car:

The 'Volksschule Guggenthal' bus stop - Google Maps Link is right next to the landing site, and you can take bus line 151 there, which will take you comfortably to the 'Gaisbergspitze'.

The price shown is for 1 person. Pictures and video have to be paid extra.
Group size:
Experience tandem flying together with your friends. Up to 4 people can book at the same time. You will start either all together or in two rounds one after the other. In the air you are of course alone with your tandem pilot.
Viewers / accompanying persons:
Your companions can watch you from the take-off or landing site. At the top of the Gaisberg you can hike well and the managed alpine hut and the restaurant invite you to stop off. In addition, this is the perfect place for a souvenir photo at the start.
Equipment / clothing:
Please put on sports shoes with a non-slip profile and durable, warm clothing that is suitable for the weather. We also recommend gloves for flights in autumn and winter.
